The Holiday Experience Collection

Ralph Lauren's Christmas collection is basically a trichromatic palette of white, black, and red/burgundy. It is filled with classic lines, Navajo-style prints, plaid, and gorgeous belts. It's also endlessly chic; I just wish it was more affordable (ranges from $75-17,995).

This dress is my favorite piece from the collection, with its crinkly fabric and timeless sensibility. Leila Metallic Dress, $998.

These gloves will both keep you warm and manage to keep you looking elegant in the frozen weather. Merino Wool Long Glove in Polo Black, $75.

On the more ridiculously pricey side of the collection, this bag is still gorgeous, and although the color is festive, is still versatile for other seasons. Calfskin Saddle Bag, $4,500.

Katrina Lapenne Jewelry: Snake

Snake Collection

Katrina Lapenne has fantastically original jewelry, and I love her new "Snake" collection. Done in gold and silver, this jewelry collection can be pretty pricey (the range being $77-1,562 depending on the metal you choose for the piece), but the textures are beautiful, and if bought for a gift is sure to be appreciated.

My favorite piece in the collection, this ring looks delicate but still substantial, and would be flattering on anyone. Cleopatra Snake Ring in 14k Yellow Gold, $1,232.

One of the least-pricey pieces in the collection, this ring is still super-cute and very elegant. Snake Ring in Sterling Silver, $77.

Although the rings are my favorite part of this collection, these earrings are great, and although on the pricey side, can be worn with many things. Snake Hoops in 14k Yellow Gold, $1,232.
